EDhiD was a book I put together as a commemoration of the reportedly 22 former military personnel from the UK and US who killed themselves every day. It is 22 poems taken from across the 12 volumes I published on kindle between 2015-2018; they are still available from my publisher in pdf or print format here. Although I published and controlled all steps of the original Every Dog, and paid for the print run, this lot are Print-on-Demand [note, they’re not physical ready atm, ran out]

Fell free to check out Every Dog, there’s no charge.

One of my oldest and dearest friends, Michelle Laverick, put my poem Widows of the Empire, from Every Dog, to music, re-titling it ‘Nevermind’. This is not a production quality release. More proof-of-concept in the spirit of Michelle Shocked’s Texas campfire field recording.  Here it is from Guy Mortenson’s SoundCloud account:

Poems read by Courtney Hulbert, selected few by a friend on the UoG BA Creative Writing Course. Recorded at the UoG Media Suit in collaboration with the dissertation of a Media BA student.
